Sakeena is the CEO and Co-founder of Savyn, an award-winning social impact venture providing evidence-based neuropsychiatry PTSD therapies in software as a medical device platform. As a survivor of war and an immigrant to Canada with lived experience of PTSD, Sakeena is from the community the venture is serving. She is a racialized Muslim female who has worked closely with vulnerable communities like refugees, and delivered multiple workshops on mental health, EDI, and social justice for several organizations. With 10 years of experience in Product Management, she aims to make Savyn a successful social enterprise that serves racialized and underrepresented communities.
