Efua Payida

Efua Payida is a Ghanaian mother of two young daughters, Xara and Sauda. She is a result-oriented, target-oriented lady with work experience in multicultural environments, particularly in West Africa and the United Kingdom. Efua is a social scientist with a degree in Political Science and Sociology and a Master of Business Administration from Saïd Business School, the University of Oxford. Due to her passion for developing quality childhood education for all, Efua was a University of Oxford Global Leadership fellow (a joint initiative of the Alibaba Entrepreneurs Fund, Oxford Character Project, and the St. Gallen Symposium). She developed a project promoting Inclusive Education by engaging senior leaders in intergenerational dialogues, integrating responsible leadership and design thinking. Her most recent work was with MIT Solve and The Quality Teaching Academy as a strategy consultant. She developed initiatives to improve quality teaching in resource-poor and transitioning countries.
