Arijit Roy leads enterprise Deposit product management across personal, small business, and commercial segments (over ~$200B portfolio). In addition, Arijit also leads the full P&L for Small Business Banking at Truist. He has led the development and implementation of strategy for Truist's largest business unit, the Retail Community Bank. He drives the creation of client segment strategy coordinating across all products and channels, and the execution of signature, flagship initiatives, that drive household growth for the Bank. Arijit also leads the Analytics and Business Performance team for the Retail Bank. In addition, Arijit is also accountable for digital integration across Truist Retail products driving business prioritization and value, linked to client preferences and behavior. Arijit came to Truist from Discover Financial Services, where he led the Deposits business for Discover's Consumer Bank. At Discover, Arijit led the launch of Discover's award-winning cashback debit product, and led the launch of the company's "no-fee" value proposition. He helped grow Discover's deposit balances by over 40% in 3 years and held several leadership roles across marketing, digital, product management, operations strategy, and lean in several Discover businesses. Prior to Discover, Arijit was an Associate Partner at McKinsey and Company, where he served large financial service clients in banking, insurance, and payments on topics of strategy, operations, and performance transformation. He has also held roles at H&R Block, and Sprint (now T-Mobile) earlier in his career. Arijit has an MBA from Harvard Business School, an MS in Industrial Engineering from Virginia Tech, and a BE in Electronics & Communications Engineering from the Manipal Institute of Technology in India. He is a past member of the Associate Boards of the American India Foundation, and the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation.
