Doreen Toutikian (doreentoutikian.com) is a social entrepreneur, cultural producer, interdisciplinary designer, consultant to iNGOS & UN agencies, and a university lecturer on design theory and research for social impact. In the past 10 years she has founded OMGYNO (omgyno.com), MENA Design Research Center (menadrc.org), LOOP (looporg.eu), and Beirut Design Week (beirutdesignweek.org). She is an advisor and board member of ‘International Gender Design Network’ and 'Board of International Research in Design’, a fellow of the Salzburg Global Seminar and Mophradat, a Young Cultural Innovator of the British Council, a member of the UNDP Women Innovators in Arab States and an MIT Solver. She speaks six languages and lives in between Beirut and Athens.
