Gabriela Eguidazu is Director of Innovation for Inclusive Growth at BBVA Microfinance Foundation (FMBBVA). In her actual role, she is in charge of the financial, social and digital inclusion of vulnerable populations, women's empowerment and environmental sustainability strategies, through digitalization and social innovation.

She brings over a decade of expertise in the financial sector in Latin America. Prior to joining FMBBVA, she worked for more than 10 years in the first microfinance bank of Colombia (Bancamía, the institution of the FMBBVA in this country), where she served as Digital Transformation and Innovation Vice President. In this role, she contributed to receiving several awards such as the 2019 Most Innovative Bank Award and the 2020 Financial Innovation Award, both from Fintech Americas, the 2020 Asobancaria Award in Digital Dimension and the Iconic Companies Creating a Better World for All award, presented by the Women Economic Forum, among others. She has been nominated for the top 100 women leaders in Spain in 2023 in the category of social impact.

Gabriela holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from CUNEF University and a MSc in Microfinance and Social Development from the University of Alcalá.
