Genesis Garcia (she/hers), is the officer for Solve’s US Communities. She oversees Solve’s equity-focused US work including the 2021 Antiracist Technology Challenge and supports the Indigenous Communities Fellowship. 

Before joining Solve, Genesis was a Program Manager at C4 Innovations. In her role, she engaged communities and organizations in providing technical assistance and delivered strategies that advance racial equity that led to sustainable change. She also co-facilitated racial equity trainings to communities and organizations that aim to provide a foundational understanding of historical and current manifestations of structural racism. In addition, she has extensive administrative and logistical expertise while managing multiple projects—focused on race equity, behavioral health, and homelessness in rural and lower-income communities—that are intended to strengthen high-need populations by providing an equitable perspective.

Genesis was born and raised in Providence, Rhode Island and is a Spanish native speaker. She holds a BS in Health Policy and Management from Providence College.
