Helene is Senior Policy Advisor on Innovation, leading the UN Women Innovation and Technology Facility.

With more than 15 years professional experience working in humanitarian, human rights and development organizations, she has led various innovative programming initiatives focusing on sustainable development, gender, justice and empowerment.  

This included the development of projects on innovative mechanisms for financing biodiversity conservation, on innovative legal frameworks, innovative and interactive capacity building methodologies and innovative grant making for legal empowerment and access to justice for vulnerable women.

She has held increasingly responsible positions with the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Business France, UNDP, WHO, the Global Fund, UNICEF and IDLO and worked in South Africa, Benin, Congo Republic, Switzerland, Sri Lanka and the Netherlands.

She holds a Master in International Law and a Master in Diplomacy and International Relations.
