Howard M. Heller

Senior Advisor for Clinical Partnerships, Massachusetts Consortium on Pathogen Readiness

Howard M. Heller MD MPH is a member of the Infectious Disease Division at the Massachusetts General Hospital. He is Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, teaches at Massachusetts General Hospital and the Harvard-MIT Health Science and Technology (HST) program and is the Senior Advisor for Clinical Partnerships at the Massachusetts Consortium on Pathogen Readiness (MassCPR).

Dr. Heller is a Fellow of the Infectious Disease Society of America, a member of the American Board of Internal Medicine Infectious Disease Board, the Infectious Disease Exam Committee and has previously served as President of the Massachusetts Infectious Disease Society.

Dr. Heller received a bachelor’s degree in biology from Columbia College of Columbia University and his medical degree from SUNY-Upstate Medical University (Syracuse). He trained in internal medicine at North Shore University Hospital/ Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (Cornell), completed a fellowship in infectious diseases at SUNY-Stony Brook and received a master of public health degree from the Mailman School of Public Health of Columbia University.
