Jason Newman

Vice President, Corporate Affairs, Hewlett Packard Enterprise

Jason Newman is a Vice President, Corporate Affairs at Hewlett Packard Enterprise where he leads the Strategy and Operations team and the Business Security & Integrity Group. In this capacity, he is responsible for driving strategic programs and operational efficiencies for the global Corporate Affairs team, as well as leading the company’s strategy to minimize the impact of illicit competition.

Previously, Jason also managed the HPE Foundation where he oversaw the company’s philanthropic giving strategy, and served as Director of State & Local Government Relations, where he advanced the company’s public policy agenda and developed political engagement strategies to retain, grow, and acquire new public sector business.

Prior to joining HPE, Jason served as Manager of State Policy at the Pew Center on the States where he successfully passed legislation resulting in state savings in excess of $1 billion. At Pew, Jason also led the effort to design and launch a new multi-million dollar project around juvenile justice. Before Pew, Jason served as the State and Local Policy Director at the Democratic Leadership Council.

Jason earned a JD from Wake Forest University School of Law and a bachelor’s degree in politics from Washington and Lee University.
