Liban Ismail is a Philanthropy Specialist at Illusian, the founder office of Ilkka Paananen, the co-founder & CEO of Supercell, Europe’s first startup decacorn. The philanthropic work of Illusian focuses on increasing social inclusion. The mission is to ensure children, youth, and families have equal opportunities to live fulfilling lives and believe in their future, regardless of background.

At Illusian, Liban leverages his extensive experience in project management, social work, and academic research to drive philanthropic initiatives that make a difference. He has a strong background in supporting immigrant and youth-related projects, promoting diversity, and fostering community engagement.

Before his current role, Liban was the Executive Director at the Moniperheet Association, where he led integration and employment projects for immigrants. He has also founded Tukisatama, a company that manages family and support services.

Liban holds a Master’s Degree in Social Sciences from the University of Turku and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of East London.
