Liz Rodgers
VP of Sustainable Product, Nike
United States
Liz Rodgers is the Vice President of Sustainable Product at Nike. Liz leads a product sustainability team that is at the forefront of Nike’s next generation of footwear and apparel innovations. Together with product creation teams across the enterprise, product sustainability supports the adoption of more sustainable materials, new innovations, and circular design principles. From introducing a recycled polyester race singlet at the games in Sydney 2000, to transforming more than a billion plastic bottles into new materials each year, sustainable product innovations have created new Nike platforms that power and protect the future of sport.
Liz has more than two decades of experience with Nike, in roles that have seen her lead the global transition of the Umbro business, manage the design team’s digital transformation, reset consumer concepts in China, and define new enterprise-wide processes for creating products. In 2019, Liz led a team that developed Circularity: Guiding the Future of Design to create a framework for circular design in apparel and footwear. This platform was launched at the Copenhagen Fashion Summit as part of Nike’s 2020 Circular Fashion System Commitment.
Liz holds a bachelor’s degree in music from Coe College.
