Malual Bol Kiir is a South Sudanese Peace and Human rights activist; He Co-founded the African Youth Action Network (AYAN), which recruits youths to work together as agents of peace and conflict prevention. He participated in UNHCR’s Global Refugee Youth Consultations that brought together youth from 22 countries to discuss the most pressing challenges they face and their recommendations on how to best address these challenges. Malual is also a member of the advisory group of experts for the UN Security Council Resolution 2250 (2015) mandated progress study on youth, peace and security. Malual is an Honoree for the Women’s Refugee Commission’s 2017 Voices of Courage Award.
