Founder, Youth for Technology Foundation

Njideka U. Harry is the Founder of Youth for Technology Foundation (YTF), an international education technology nonprofit established in 2001.  YTF’s programs utilize appropriate technology to inspire youth and women to create innovative solutions to problems they identify in their communities. YTF is empowering the next generation of leaders to enter the workforce with the skills they need to access employment or create their own entrepreneurial opportunities.  To date, YTFs work has impacted over 1.7 million youth and women across 5 countries. In 2017, Njideka founded 3D Printing Academy for Girls (3DPAG) an education technology startup with a social impact that brings STEM to life by engaging girls in technology through making, creating and inventing the world they envision for themselves. 

An Ashoka Fellow, Njideka has a global reputation as a thought leader on matters related to the fourth industrial revolution and the future of work.  She serves as a consultant to private sector companies, social enterprises, for-profit businesses with a social mission and international agencies on matters related to youth, information and communication technologies, entrepreneurship and gender.  She serves on the “Civil Society and the Future of Work” council and the “Global Future for the New Equality” council at the World Economic Forum and is on the Advisory Council for the Alliance for Affordable Internet (A4AI).  She is a member of the panel of experts for the Education Index with the Legatum Institute, U.K.
