Michelle (Kaluhyanu:wes “She is Fond of the Sky”) Schenandoah, is an inspirational speaker, writer, thought leader and traditional member of the Onʌyota':aka (Oneida) Nation Wolf Clan of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy. Founder of Rematriation, she carries the values and responsibilities inspired by her grandmothers. She holds a JD and LL.M. from New York Law School, an MS from the S.I. Newhouse School of Communications, and a BA from Cornell University. She has advised tribal governments across Turtle Island and worked for numerous non-profits. She lives on her people’s homelands with her husband and their beautiful children.
