Rathi has over 18 years of experience in designing and leading international development programs and has lived for 10 years in emerging and developing economies. She has deep expertise in human-centered design and financial services and has led numerous teams through the research, design, and go-to-market strategy for financial service offerings- both digital and non-digital - that have reached over 500,000 under-served customers globally. As Director of Women’s Entrepreneurship and Financial Inclusion at CARE USA, Rathi is driving women-centered design, inclusive finance and entrepreneurship as pathways to women's economic empowerment globally. Previously, she led teams at a human-centered design firm in Cambodia and a fintech in South Africa. Rathi has been featured globally, including The World Financial Review, World Economic Forum, FinDev, Modern Diplomacy, FinEquity, Business Fights Poverty, and CGAP.
