Rodrigo Demarch is a physician-entrepreneur trained in Brazil and is a fellow of the Stanford Biodesign Global Faculty Training program where he learned the foundations of healthcare innovation. Rodrigo has founded two MedTech startups, one in Japan and the other in Brazil, being this last one recently acquired by Nasdaq-listed company.

Nowadays, he serves as Chief Innovation Officer at Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein, a philanthropic not-for-profit private healthcare system in Brazil, recognized as the leading healthcare organization in Latin America.

As CIO he manages a team of one hundred people working with innovation from many different facets, from entrepreneurship training programs, to incubating, accelerating and investing in startups, as well as licensing technology to the industry.
