Passionate social entrepreneur with a clear objective of changing paradigms of business to generate a positive impact for the society and planet. Given his curiosity and strong motivation, he has succeeded in consolidating a team of driven individuals that together continue changing the Status Quo of business. 

Rodrigo is the Founding Partner of the New Ventures Group based in Mexico. Since its establishment in 2004, New Ventures has strived and succeeded in catalyzing companies with a social and environmental impact that contribute to the development of Latin America. Through engagement with the public and private sector, New Ventures executes various acceleration programs, operates one investment vehicle, Adobe Capital, and organizes the largest impact investing conference in the region every year: FLII. As an Ashoka Fellow, Rodrigo is widely recognized as a pioneer and leading voice in Latin America’s social entrepreneurship and impact investing sectors. Rodrigo is currently Chair of the GSG National Advisory Board in Mexico and sits on the board of various portfolio companies of Adobe Capital, CI Banco and Iniciativa Mexico.

Rodrigo has a Master of Business Administration from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Accounting and Financial Management degree from the ITESM.
