Share resources, work compassionately, smartly and efficiently, eliminate waste and help one another. These are the values that drive Rudayna on a personal and professional level. Rudayna diverged from her career in urban planning to found Thaki, a social impact organization that bridges the digital literacy gap by bringing e-learning to refugee and vulnerable children in the Middle East.

Her original career in urban planning was involved with envisioning, managing, and tailoring solutions to challenging housing, land use, and urban transportation issues across diverse urban geographies including the Arabian Gulf region. Having worked in the public, private and nonprofit sectors, she led many master planning projects and understands the relationships between land development, urban design, infrastructure systems, transportation and transit networks, implementation frameworks, and growth policy.

Rudayna has a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Studies from MIT, a Master’s degree in Urban Planning from McGill University, and completed Amsterdam's THNK School of Creative Leadership executive program.
