For the last 6 years I have been building a global teacher movment that empowers teachers, with the knowledge skills and mindsets to get every child learning. Without having ever raised a grant or investment, we have built an organisation that supports 2500 teachers in low resource environments with two months of intensive professional development each year. To do it, we have built LRTT: Limited Resource Teacher Training, a hybrid social enterprise. We are a diverse team of innovators educators and technologists with a shared commitment to making quality education a reality for all children. We have already mobilised 1500 teachers from the UK/US/Australia to become LRTT Fellows spending their summer working hand in hand with 15 locally led, resource constrained teacher training organisations across 11 countries. We are now have the team, vision and plans to take LRTT to scale as a teacher led, technology enablement movement supporting 20,000 teacher/ year to provide high quality education for 1 million children by 2023. We are now looking to build the parnterships to make that a reality.
