Sophie Kurz (she/her) is the Climate Officer, where she plays a crucial role in helping Solvers develop and scale cutting-edge climate tech solutions. Additionally, she works on client-based projects within the climate sector to drive impactful outcomes.

Before this role, Sophie was part of the Strategic Partnerships & Philanthropy team at MIT Solve, where she focused on supporting Solve’s impact fund, Solve Innovation Future, and fostering organization-wide partnerships. Sophie holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Business Administration from Northeastern University. She has a deep passion for the intersection of technology, innovation, and business. Outside of work, Sophie loves swimming in the ocean, watching basketball and theater, and exploring new restaurants.
