Temple S. Lovelace is the Executive Director of Assessment for Good, an inclusive R&D program at AERDF. AFG is committed to transforming the role that the assessment process plays in the lives of Black and Latinx learners so that it affirms and honors the continuum of their development. As a research affiliate of The Gordon Institute for Urban and Minority Education at Teachers College, Columbia University, Temple’s research focuses on the intersection of disability, race, and gender, with a line of inquiry on creating pathways of opportunity for our most vulnerable students that leverages emerging technical capabilities and promotes new horizons in the measurement and learning sciences.
