Meanwhile, 35 million people in this country are in food insecurity. Among them, 10 million are children. With the traditional method, food pantries struggle to get perishable produce and prepared food because of the lag in information and transportation. Foodres.AI instantly matches food surplus with local food banks on demand. Our new technology processes video and real-time camera input, offering great flexibility in classifying food types. Starting with the pilot project in Cambridge, we can eventually save 15 million pounds of food and reach out to more than 2000 households in need.Sector
