Our team and organization have been working on our solution for approximately 7 years. The journey began in June 2016, when we initiated the groundwork and research for developing an innovative approach to address the challenges in rare disease healthcare starting with our work for the Gracias Maternity Clinic. Our organization was officially established and became operational in August 2016, marking the beginning of our dedicated efforts to create a sustainable solution. Over the years, we have continuously refined and improved our solution, leveraging technological advancements, engaging with stakeholders, and adapting to the evolving needs of the rare disease community.
What is your approach to incorporating diversity, equity, and inclusivity into your work?
Our approach to diversity is that everyone is welcome, irrespective of sex, religion or caste, purely merit based. Over 50% of our team are women and over three religions are represented.
We focus only on local resources, so locally inclusive.
In terms of equity, everyone has an equal share in the work, so with every project the company gets, the entire team profits from it.

Our business model has been B2B, where we have been building solutions for institutions such as hospitals. It would be better to tie up with a pharmaceutical manufacturer as we would then really be in the supply chain and aid them in being more sustainable and effective to their communities.
