Rachel Landers

Associate Director, Strategic Partnerships & Philanthropy, MIT Solve

Rachel is an Associate Director on Solve's Strategic Partnerships & Philanthropy team, responsible for identifying and cultivating collaborations with partner organizations who believe in leveraging innovation to solve global challenges.

Prior to joining Solve, Rachel had a career spanning the corporate and non-profit sectors. Rachel comes to Solve from L'Oréal USA where she managed their flagship philanthropic initiative, For Women in Science, which supports outstanding women in STEM and advocates for policies and practices that keep women in science & technology fields. She began her career working at the Institute of International Education managing Fulbright Programs across Asia in partnership with the U.S. Department of State. Before relocating to New York City and completing her MA in International Educational Development from Columbia University's Teachers College, Rachel spent several years teaching primary and vocational school students in France and Spain.
